Junk Journaling Tip: Fabric Photocopies

I have a growing collection of tea towels received as gifts from dear friends. It brings me joy to use them, and I cherish the memories associated with each one. While I know they won’t last forever, I’m grateful for the happiness they bring me in the present.

But I’m also sentimental. So in an effort to preserve them, I made color copies of each to use as background paper in my junk journal.

This gorgeous floral paper is from a towel my friend picked up while visiting family in Canada.

Color copies make for meaningful and inexpensive paper backdrops. You can also incorporate doilies, embroidery, and other handmade treasures – the possibilities are endless!
